Saint Laurent’s elusive designer, Hedi Slimane, is relaunching Yves Saint Laurent Couture after 10 years. 

Slimane intends to design a custom label called “Yves Saint Laurent Couture.” The pieces that will be added to the collection will be decided upon on a case by case basis. Slimane will only open the door so that hand selected by the designer will have an opportunity to wear the designs designed by the Slimane.

It has been stated by Vanessa Friedman, an executive with the fashion house, that the line “will be used only for friends of the house, and can be both for men and women, daywear or evening.”
