MAC MILLER VISITS ‘THE BREAKFAST CLUB’

Mac Miller recently gave his fans the exciting news that after recording almost nine albums worth of material, he’s finally ready to put out a new album. The new album, titled GO:OD AM, is due out on September 18. Since making this big announcement via Twitter, Mac has been making his way around the media circuit to promote his forthcoming album and discuss his absence from the limelight.

Miller recently stopped by The Breakfast Club and had a very truthful conversation. He didn’t hold anything back as he opened up about his past drug use—admitting that he didn’t go to rehab but he did need to step back and refocus. He went on to tell the story about the time he got the privilege to perform with Jay Electronica but wound up freestyling after forgetting his lyrics because he was too high. He admitted he was “kind of a mess” but the night ended on a high note when Jay gave him encouraging words that “there’s no fuck ups in hip-hop.”

Though parts of the interview revolved around heavy issues, Mac Miller remained cool and charismatic throughout. It’s clear he has nothing to hide and is ready to let his fans know that he slipped up for a moment but he’s back and feeling better than before.
